| Will's Pacific Art Collective is bigger and better by the minute. These exhibitions, formerly called the PAC Sessions, are one-night shows at various venues around San Jose (and sometimes very far away from San Jose), typically featuring three live local bands, three live local painters, a DJ or two, and sometimes an odd performance act like bellydancing or slam poetry.
At the time of this particular show I was just recovering from a 10-day virus. I called the painting "illness," and is a generic comment about suburban sprawl and the oil crisis. Everyone who passed by seemed to like the skulls quite a bit. The whole project took about five hours, the last three of which were at the Theatre while the bands and the DJ and everything was going on. |
